June Sling Library Meet Up

Thursday 18th June 11.15am-12.30pm At Eastney Community Centre in Bransbury Park.

Option One – Sling Social:

Free

Come along and meet up with other parents who also like to carry their babies, have a drink and maybe some cake. Browse the sling library’s extensive range and give them a try. If you decide you’d like to borrow one, you can do so using option 3 or 4 below.

Option Two – Fit Check:

£3

Book Ahead or on the day (if slots are still available). Bring your own sling or carrier and have a fit check with one of our trained peer supporters. Or choose a library sling and have a fit check with one of our peer supporters.

Option Three – Sling Hire:

£10-30

If you already know which sling or carrier you want to borrow or have already had a fit check then use our Hire Form to keep it for 1-4 weeks.

Option Four – Mini Consultation:

Book ahead or on the day (if there are slots left) for a mini consultation with our trained sling consultant. Explain what your needs are for a sling and get support to choose one that may suit you and learn how to put it on. The cost of the mini consultation is £10 or free with a sling hire. Please note that this option is for people wanting to hire a sling with support on which to choose. If you are already sure what you want to hire or have your own sling you want to check fits well then please choose one of our other options. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t make your booking so we can make it available to someone else who needs it. Thank you.

Individual Baby Carrying Consultations

Special Offer! Book an individual consultation for just £20 plus a commitment to review my services to help me finish my consultant training.

You can feel calm, confident and safe carrying your baby. Book an hour and a half of dedicated individual support in your own home.

What you get:

Support with choosing a carrier and feeling calm, confident and capable with carrying your baby.
Discuss your needs and why you want to carry your baby.
Learn how to put your chosen carrier on and secure your baby so that you are both safe and comfortable.
The chance to try out multiple different types of sling or carrier to see which you like best.
One month’s hire of your choice of sling or carrier.
Follow up support by text or email during that month.

Join the wait list for up coming workshops

Join a small group workshop and gain confidence with carrying your baby alongside other families. Joining the wait list will mean you’re the first to be told when workshop dates are announced and have an early bird chance to book your spot. Workshops will happen in the order that there is the most interest so joining the wait list will make the workshop you want to do more likely to happen sooner.
